Physician Life Care Planning Launches Previdi, a Case Intelligence and Client Service Platform for Personal Injury Law Firms

SAN ANTONIO, Texas – Physician Life Care Planning (PLCP), a national leader in life care planning and damages valuation, today announced the release of Previdi by PLCP, a unified platform designed to help personal injury law firms screen and prioritize cases earlier and manage their PLCP engagements in one place.

Previdi brings together two distinct capabilities: Previdi AI, an AI-powered case screening tool, and a fresh and expanded portal for managing PLCP Expert Services. The two operate independently. Previdi AI supports a firm’s own internal assessment of a case, while PLCP Expert Services continue to be delivered exclusively by qualified physicians, with no reliance on AI.

Previdi AI analyzes a firm’s uploaded medical records and delivers a structured summary of the record in hours. The summary organizes documented injuries, diagnoses and treatment history and, through RangeFinder, provides a preliminary cost benchmark drawn from aggregated, de-identified historical data. Previdi AI is a screening tool for a firm’s own internal use. It is not a life care plan, it is not a medical opinion, and it is not used in the preparation of any PLCP expert report.

The full Previdi platform is now available to select PLCP clients following a successful beta program, with general availability scheduled for September 2026.

RangeFinder is a key feature within Previdi AI, providing a preliminary cost range for screening purposes. Powered by PLCP’s proprietary Intelligence Core, RangeFinder benchmarks the conditions documented in a case against aggregated, de-identified historical cost data. RangeFinder is a statistical benchmark. It is not a valuation of any case, not an expert opinion, and is neither prepared by nor provided to a PLCP expert.

Together, RangeFinder and Previdi AI’s structured summaries help firms identify what matters in the record, screen cases earlier and decide where to invest their time and resources.

One Platform for the Full PLCP Experience

Beyond Previdi AI, the full Previdi platform brings the broader PLCP client experience into one connected place. Firms can review structured case insights, manage records and active engagements, access completed reports and connect directly with PLCP Expert Services without moving between separate systems or workflows.

Independent of PLCP Expert Opinions

Previdi does not change how PLCP expert work is performed. PLCP life care plans and damages valuations are authored exclusively by board-certified physicians applying the published, peer-reviewed methodology of the American Academy of Physician Life Care Planners.

Consistent with longstanding PLCP policy, PLCP experts do not use AI tools to research, analyze, draft or formulate their opinions. Previdi outputs, including RangeFinder ranges, are not provided to PLCP experts, are not among the materials an expert reviews and play no role in the formation of any opinion.

Information flows in one direction only. Aggregated, de-identified historical data informs the Intelligence Core; the Intelligence Core informs no expert’s file. PLCP’s position paper on artificial intelligence and the formation of expert opinions is available to counsel on request.

Built to Protect Client Records

Previdi was designed for the realities of handling confidential legal and medical information. Records uploaded by a firm are used only to generate that firm’s own case summary and screening insights. They are not added to the Intelligence Core, not used to train Previdi or any underlying AI model, and not made available to other firms.

Firms retain ownership of the records and work product they upload. Previdi protects submitted information through encryption in transit and at rest, two-factor authentication and access controls that limit records to authorized users.

The Intelligence Core remains separate from client-submitted records and is built from aggregated, de-identified cost and utilization data derived from PLCP’s completed engagements. It contains no case-identifying information and no client work product.
