Adverum Launches AI Visibility Audit for Norwegian and Danish Companies

The Vilnius-based agency tests how AI assistants describe a company in English and Scandinavian languages, which sources they cite and where they are wrong.

VILNIUS, LITHUANIA, November 4, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Adverum, an independent strategic communications agency founded in Vilnius, Lithuania, in 2004, today launched the Adverum AI Visibility Audit for companies in Norway and Denmark. The audit tests how generative AI assistants, including ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude and Google AI Overviews, answer questions about a company, its competitors and its category, and identifies the sources those answers rely on.

For export-oriented Nordic companies, the question is not only what AI says in one language. Answers to the same question can differ between Norwegian, Danish and English prompts, as AI systems may draw on different sources in each language. The audit runs prompts in the languages of the client's target markets and compares the results.

Generative engine optimization (GEO) is the practice of making accurate information about an organization easier for AI systems to find, understand and cite. AI answers draw heavily on published sources, including news coverage: in Muck Rack's Generative Pulse study published in May 2026, based on more than 25 million links cited by ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini, journalism accounted for 27% of cited links, while paid and advertorial content accounted for 0.3%.

The Adverum AI Visibility Audit has five parts: 30 to 40 buyer-style prompts run in clean, logged-out sessions and logged with screenshots; a fact check against a verified fact sheet; a source map showing which publications, directories and platforms AI cites for competitors but not for the client; a technical review of AI crawler access, structured data and listings such as Wikidata; and prioritized recommendations with a retest after 90 days. It takes 10 business days and costs from approximately EUR 850 to EUR 2,200, depending on the number of markets and competitors. It is delivered remotely by Adverum consultants.

"When a buyer asks an AI assistant which company to trust, the answer is assembled from what journalists, registries and the company itself have published," said Ieva Naujalytė, Managing Partner at Adverum. "Our audit shows a company what that answer looks like today, where it is wrong and which sources shape it. We do not promise positions in systems nobody controls. We correct the facts and strengthen the sources AI relies on."

Adverum does not guarantee placement in AI answers and does not create fake reviews, undisclosed paid content or inauthentic encyclopedia edits. Results are reported as dated snapshots, because AI answers change over time.
